That’s why I’m creating First Year Legacy Stories: a selective program following 6–8 Charlotte-Fort Mill-area families through the most transformative twelve months of their lives.

- Flexible session structure tailored to your vision:
- Classic arc: Maternity → Newborn → 6 Months → 1 Year (the four cornerstone moments)
- Extended journey: Add monthly sessions if you want to capture the rhythm of change
- Your choice: Whether you include maternity is entirely up to you
- Expert posing & direction so you feel comfortable, confident and looked-after
- Custom heirloom artwork professionally printed and installed in your home (no DIY)
- Featured storytelling on our platform—a curated narrative of your first year that becomes a permanent record for your child
This isn’t about collecting digital files. It’s about creating a printed, displayed, lived-with story on your walls that your child will see every day as they grow. Ultimately that is what you will treasure more each year when they’ve grown past the baby stages.

First Year Legacy Stories isn’t open to everyone. I’m curating a small cohort of families because this program requires intention, narrative depth, and the creative collaboration that transforms your vision into lasting artwork.
When you apply, I ask real questions to make sure I’m the photographer for you. If you’re selected, it’s because I believe your story—and your family’s journey into parenthood—deserves to be told with the care it’s earned. I’m committing to bring that care and craft to every element of your experience.
Why do this at all?
Because in twenty years of photographing families, I’ve learned that the families who see themselves reflected back through professional, beautiful imagery—who live with that art in their homes—raise confident children who know their own worth.
Every portrait displayed in your home tells your child for instance. “You were wanted. You were celebrated. You mattered from the very beginning.” Reminding your baby: You are loved everyday with our words is huge for our children over time.
