Aren’t these guys just the cutest? Two dapper young men are ready to add to their crew. One more little man is joining this adorable family. It was so much fun to celebrate this time in their lives for them. Pregnancy portraits can be a little nerve wracking for expecting mommas. I totally get it and aim to make all mommas feel super comfortable in my studio. And you can see that here she looks comfortable and happy doesn’t she?

My sweet three year old boy in his handmade vest. Doesn’t he look handsome for his 3 year old head shots? Grammy made the vest for him of course. And he just loves to wear anything made by Grammy! I have to do some more portraits of him soon since he got glasses a few weeks ago. I just couldn’t not post these for the Grandparents to see how handsome he is. Gosh I could just eat him up with a spoon. He certainly keeps things entertaining around here. He wanted to take pictures of me while I photographed him. Silly boy didn’t understand why I wouldn’t let him cover his face with a camera the whole time.
Can you all believe this crazy snow storm that just came through? This is still North Carolina right? Having a helper snowed in at our home, I had time to create this adorable gender reveal series. My son even cooperated for the most part 😉 I am really excited to announce to the world we will be having a boy in early June. Our son is really thrilled to be having a little brother and I think he will be an awesome big brother. Of course there will be more pregnancy self portraits coming soon. Have a great Monday!
My sweet niece was in town last week and I had to photograph her for my black and white fine art wall project! I only have two of my son’s cousins to add before our wall is complete. Big sister if you are reading this, that mean your kiddos are the only ones still needed for the project.
Sweet miss Ava was just a ham for our short mini session last week. I just adore her spirit. She is the poster child for sweet and sassy 3 years old girls. We loved having her visit and hate that she lives so far away. The black and white version is my favorite and will be going in the wall project. I can’t wait to show you all the final piece. I just love decorating our home with fine art wall portraits.
The color toned pop art image was something fun I had to try after all the fun faces she made. This is a recreation in the Andy Warhol style of Pop art. This is obviously a toned down version more appropriate for a 3 year old girl. What do you guys think of this take on the many faces of Ava?
