A Note from the Artist
For me, the drive to create is more than a career—it is the life long practice that keeps me grounded. I have carried the vision for this series within me for years; a desire to strip away the noise and focus purely on the alchemy of color and character.
I’ve decided that 2026 is the year to bring this vision to life.
An Artist Color Exploration : a limited studio portrait series using color to tell personal stories.
This portrait series is about capturing you unfiltered: the quiet confidence of a child, the tenderness of motherhood, the playful growth of a toddler, or the commanding presence of a professional. Each session is intentionally designed to reflect personality, presence, and connection.
In this series, color is our framework—not a theme, but a catalyst for creativity. It provides the space for individuality and deep collaboration. I’ll guide the creative process through lighting, texture, and composition.
The result is a portrait that feels elevated, intentional, and deeply personal—crafted as a finished piece of art.
The exploration unfolds over a limited time, we’ll start with the exploration of Pink.

Pink in 2026 is the color of radical tenderness and unapologetic presence.
The quiet reverie of Soft Pink
- The Vibe: Ethereal, timeless, nurturing, and still. Think Dutch Master paintings but in shades of blush.
- For You: Soft Pink is for the tender stories—a newborn’s skin, the soft connection of motherhood, or a child’s introspective side.
- The Guard Rail: “Not ‘girly’; ‘Luminous.'”
The rebel Rose
- The Vibe: Confident, modern, bold, editorial, high-energy, and Unapologetic.
- For you: Perfect for teens or branding sessions. It says, “I am here, and I am significant.”
- The Guard Rail: “This is about the power of pink—using a single bold hue to command the frame.”
The Playful Spontaneous
- The Vibe: Joyful, bubblegum, energetic, and lighthearted.
- For You: Best for toddlers and siblings. It captures the “spirit of play” that defines childhood.
- The Guard Rail: “We use pink to amplify the fun—it’s the backdrop for their natural movement and laughter.”
An Artist Color Exploration will look different for every portrait.
My goal is to create something unique to the subject and use the color to express emotion, feelings and energy. Below is an example of me using color to draw your eye to the subjects in this portrait. While everyone feels put together and intentional with the green clothing and background, the focus is the cute baby and a mother’s tender gaze smiling down at her.
