The biggest regret that I hear from moms is that they did NOT have a maternity portrait created! I hear it from new moms and moms of teenagers and I hear it all the time. You quickly forget how beautiful your belly was and what an amazing super power it was to create life.
You and your baby deserve to be celebrate in a gorgeous maternity shoot that you can look back on and cherish.
Your memory of this special time will get murky as the years go by. But with beautiful artwork decorating your home your portraits will be your window back to the stage just before your baby arrived.
Before your portrait session
Design & Planning Maternity Photography
When you are considering an Insley Photography art piece for your home, Alicia will personally meet with you to design and coordinate with your home’s style and decor. Alicia is professionally trained and will work with the colors, textures, sight lines and layout in your home. She will ask you to submit photos of your space where you would like to display the final product. During your in studio consultation and planning meeting you will talk about your personal style, and your long-term desires for the space. She’ll help you make preliminary choices on what to do with your images for a tangible result now and what to think about as your baby grows.
Wardrobe & Props
We offer a complimentary maternity closet with beautiful gowns for your maternity portrait session that help you achieve the style you have chosen. We will also talk about all the details like hair and makeup, props and accessories you might like to incorporate as well.
During your maternity portrait session
You will feel like a queen and have a great time in the studio. First a professional hair and makeup artist will create a timeless look for you that helps you to feel amazing. Second you will feel prepared and confident in what you will be wearing for your session. (since we had a planning session 😉 Then we will spend an hour or so creating amazing maternity portraits for you to remember this special time. One week later you will meet with Alicia again to view and order all your amazing images.
After your portrait Session
Printing & Framing
All our art pieces are hand printed, framed and mounted here at Insley Photography or through our off-site master printer. Wall artwork from your maternity photography will be archival finished and ready to hang. We offer a variety of finishes that speak to a modern minimalist decor, showing off your growing family in the place you hold most dear – your home. We also offer custom design portrait albums that look great in any home.
Installation Services & File Preservation For Your Maternity Photography
Your maternity images are always backed up and preserved on our networked storage system for one year after purchase. We make sure that your images are safe and sound in our hands. Plus, we offer art installation for clients who need extra assistance hanging gallery walls and lining up frames. Art installation assures your maternity portrait is sturdy, level and perfectly aligned in your space.
